Dr. Luna (Workshop Speaker)
Born in El Salvador, Ronald Luna immigrated to the United States in 1986 and settled in Silver Spring, Maryland. Dr. Luna served as the Undergraduate Director at the Department of Geographical Sciences at the University of Maryland College Park from 2012-2020. Since 2008 he has taught various Geography courses at multiple universities in the Washington DC area. Dr. Luna has been actively involved in COMHINA in various roles since 2012. Dr Luna has the incredible blessing to serve as the main pastor of Iglesia Evangelica Ebenezer from 2015-2022 in Maryland. In 2018, Dr. Luna started a Just Go Ministry. Just Go Ministry is an ecosystem of Christian professionals bringing their unique skill sets to create social programs and take the gospel to the unreached people of the world. Has provided technical assistance and financial support for several faith-based social projects in El Salvador, Romania, Ecuador, Bangladesh, India, Kenya, and Cuba. Recently, Dr. Luna 2022 joined The Well Community Church and became the Mission Director to mobilize the church to share the gospel globally and locally. He has led short-term cultural trips to Egypt, Kenya, India, Bangladesh, Ecuador, El Salvador, and Romania. Last September, he led a team of Christians into the frontline of Ukraine to bring humanitarian aid and the gospel. Ronald has been married to his best friend and travel partner Amaris since 2007. They are blessed to be the parents of Josue and Sara.
Pastor Mike Park (Workshop Speaker)
Rev. Dr. Mike S. Park serves as an associate pastor at Grace Downtown, one of the Grace DC network congregations in Washington, DC. He received his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry at Covenant Theological seminary. In addition to his local church involvement, he’s the US Director with Radstock Ministries, an international missions organization committed to connecting churches for missions in difficult parts of the world. He is the Director of Admissions and a Guest Lecturer at Reformed Theological seminary in Washington, DC. He currently lives in Washington, DC, with his wife and four kids.
